The bedroom is where the child starts to grow and develop its personality, and proper design is of the utmost importance. As such, more and more interior designers and decorators are starting to seriously tackle this niche, like Liberty Interiors. Nicole Rosenberg, Head Designer and founder of Liberty Interiors, took the opportunity and became Australia’s most prominent figure in the kids’ spaces design scene.

Lover of all things art, crafts and style, Liberty Interiors founder and interior decorator Nicole Rosenberg found her inspiration to start her business after having her own children, decorating their bedrooms and then the rooms of friends and family.

Encouraged by how much she loved creating these beautiful spaces and how much her friends loved her work, she knew that there was perhaps a business in this niche service, and she was right!

Being a mum herself of three children; Ruby (13yrs), Millie (11ys) and Archie (8yrs), Nicole knows that it is not only important to have the space looking gorgeous but it is also key to have something that is practical.

Vivacious and warm Nicole is truly passionate about producing calm and happy yet fun spaces that are a reflection of the child’s individuality and desires. This passion, along with her ‘don’t be afraid of colour’ mantra is infectious. Her interior design flair has now extended to family homes where she transforms entire homes, working closely with architects, to produce relaxed and inviting spaces for the entire family.
The teepee is a children’s tent bed inspired by the traditional indigenous tents. The Teepee Room has a playful design influenced by the Disney princess Pocahontas and her free-spirited and highly spiritual personality. Kids will be drawn to this room because of the sense of adventure that it inspires. Constructed from a solid oak veneer, both on the base, bed and storage, it is then supported by a 5-pole structure with a covering in synthetic leather, with peach skin texture. It is comfortable, cosy and playful, featuring interactive design elements such as a remote-controlled light and sound system and a toy box that functions as a secret compartment.
