Landmark Projects
The biggest perks of the Festival each year are the ambitious and exceptional installations of the Landmark Projects. The festival commissioned the world’s best designers and architects, as well as new talents, to create extraordinary designs that focus on material, theme and location.
V&A Commissions and Events
A unique collaboration between the world’s top museum of art, design and performance and London’s best contemporary design festival. This year, the program will again fill the museum with an incredible range of design intricate and majestic installations.
London Design Medals
London Design Festival’s envisions to celebrate and promote London as the world’s design capital. The festival pays an annual tribute to designers who are making or have made a significant difference to everyone’s lives through their innovation, originality and imagination.
Global Design Forum
The Global Design Forum is a week-long of lectures about design and what it can do. A whole bunch of talks, discussions and workshops the about the most innovative thinking in the world of design today hosted by the pioneers that are changing the way we design and live.
Design Frontiers
This year, the festival will launch the Design Frontiers which consists in a free group exhibition of over 30 leading international designers at London’s Somerset House. From automotive to fashion, product design to graphics, digital to performance, the Design Frontiers will illuminate the working and thinking practices of these celebrated designers.
