Pastel colors and polka-dots cover a fantastical miniature city for children in Shenzhen

Architecture studio X + Living has built an incredible playground within the Shenzhen Neobio Family Park in a shopping center in China. By combining polka-dots with pastels colors the studio created what they called “dream city” for children.

The miniature city itself has children-sized playshops, a pizza parlor, a dressing-up zone, and a dentist’s surgery. The main feature is definitely the spiral slide covered in polka-dots on a white background that falls into a ball pit at the bottom.
