Since 1973, Malzkorn Interiors & Raumausstattung has been serving all of its customers’ needs in terms of decorations, curtains, floor coverings, sun protection systems, and upholstery from its parent company in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel.
With their own upholstery workshop and the attached sewing studio, almost all individual wishes can be taken into account and it can be guaranteed that the work will be carried out by experienced interior decorators.

In 2010, the first small branch opened in the north of Düsseldorf in the Kaiserswerth district. In almost 5 years, the second-generation family business established itself and was the contact point for upholstery inquiries and window solutions. Since August 2nd, 2014, the company, which now operates under the name “Malzkorn Interiors & Raumeinrichtungen“, has been in a prominent location at Kaiserswerther Markt 43 in its new showrooms.
“In 2014 we opened our second showroom in Düsseldorf in order to be able to present the entire competence of our range of services to the customers and friends of our house in the north of Düsseldorf + Duisburg,” emphasizes Managing Director Gian Franco Casu. “In the meantime, we are not only interior decorators but also furnishers and interior designers. Of course, we don’t lose sight of our traditional craftsmanship. We also make the small kitchen curtains, as well as comprehensive and complex room planning up to the 3D visualization,” says owner Matthias Malzkorn.
Malzkorn Interiors now offers a comprehensive fabric collection with names such as Hermés, Jab, Dedar, Pierre Frey, Sahco Zimmer&Rohde and many others, the entire range of modern living. Closet systems for the living or sleeping area, upholstered furniture, beds, and dining tables can be found as well as carpets, wallpaper, and home accessories.
In the stylishly designed showrooms you will find living ideas from the companies Molteni&C, Bielefelder Werkstätten, Treca Interiors Paris or Gallotti&Radice and Lambert. From carpets and side tables to sofas and dressing rooms, Malzkorn Interiors serves every aspect of exclusive furnishing.
The Callanish Standing Stones on the Isle of Lewis are one of Scotland’s oldest and most mystical wonders, and they inspired Merida’s ring of stones in “Brave”. Circu took on this inspiration as well, shaping this piece of upholstery like rocks and natural formations. A contemporary furniture piece, Lewis Two Seat Sofa, uses its fluidity to transpire warmth and comfort, using two very distinct fabrics: The seating and back in a soft boucle and its back frame a delicate velvet. The details of the gold-plated feet, add a little touch of luxury but mysticism and magic as well.
Cloud Lamp Big is a kids’ suspension lamp that features a sleep assistant, as well as a lighting and sound system that can be controlled by a mobile app or remote control.
