Nishi Design Studio is the right choice if you’re looking for something decisively different. Across manifold architectural styles and construction types, across major US cities, with maximalist tendencies and head-turning taste– Nishi designs.
She’s a storyteller, but instead of words, she weaves function, object, comfort, and the artifacts of people’s lives together to create a sense of place. Some say she brought back wallpaper. In her own words, Nishi believes “that every space, just like a person, has a voice and the ability to communicate an individual sense of spirit and soul.” That’s the approach that she’s taken for over a decade while fashioning spaces that will take your breath away today, and ten years from now.
Nishi Design Studio believes in continual discovery, being ever the students of life. In the constant pursuit of all that is novel and beautiful, they create something decidedly different. More is more. That’s their motto. The more palettes, layers, time, gadgets, passion, and perfectly placed artwork they fill an empty canvas with, the more colorful the memories, the more restoring the rest, and the more balance of life. They design functional spaces for real people. They just also happen to be beautiful.
Inspired by the Jungle Book, the Mogli Playhouse was designed by using the elements and the wonders of nature. It’s a dream come true for kids who love the outdoors so much they wish to bring it inside.

A modern appeal with a contemporary touch and fully upholstered in a soft and delicate velvet fabric, the Lotus Armchair is everything you need for your interiors: A Whimsical and Ergonomic seating piece.
The biggest show in the world full of music, fun, and magic is here and it can be a part of your kids’ bedroom project. The Rhino’s Troupe Round Rug was inspired by the world of animals and how special they make our world feel. With the use of different shades such as dark purple and emerald green, this luxury kids’ rug will brighten up any room.
Nishi Design Studio balances playful and beautiful design elements with functional and livable spaces. Nishi loves to merge color with the beauty of nature, giving you “Bali + bright”. Bachelor pad, but make it sophisticated and deep. Bold wallpaper and intriguing objects amidst a sea of neutral tones create a space fit to both impress and do less. Needing space to entertain, meditate, work, and recharge– Nishi Design Studio put each space under a magnifying glass to make sure no detail went without consideration.
Success, yet serenity. Accomplishment, yet accommodation. Ritzy, yet restful. This space was cultivated to flatter the client’s lifestyle while fostering a sense of peace and respite. Nishi Design Studio wanted to create a space that was both motivating, and a place to melt into after a long day. This project is what they mean when they say “we brought back wallpaper”.
Blending the aesthetic and functionality of a home with 3 generations under one roof may seem arduous, but the opportunity to weave elements of time and taste together to suit the entirety of a family was a welcome creative challenge. One-of-a-kind designs and open minds led Nishi Design Studio to something grand and generational, turning clients into friends along the way.
