For parent’s tight schedules, playdates aren’t always the easiest things to coordinate. Good old fashioned toddler playdates are important for our children to learn how to make new friends and play with others. It’s amazing how much our kids can enjoy these fun play sessions, where they’re free to play as they please without the rigid plans of school.

Toddlers learn to play with other kids
Most of the time toddlers tend to engage in a parallel play, where they play independently, alongside other children. They are constantly observing the surroundings and understanding the way the other kids interact.
An opportunity to put to test what they’ve been taught
It is important that kids adjust the rules and behaviors of another family. When it’s their chance to host, it’s the best opportunity to practice the sharing of their most precious toys, which isn’t always an easy task but they’ll eventually get used to it.
Parents can watch how their toddlers interacts with the other toddlers
Kids can be a bit like a chameleon by adapting their behavior depending on their playmates. Each playdate is different and always adds something new to the table.
Your child gains dedicated play time & a weekly activity for their own
Having a regular dedicated play time with just one or two close friends does wonders. They gain a dedicated weekly activity all of their own and something to look forward to.
Moms can share parenting experiences
Regular playdates are so important for little ones as they are for mommies. From dealing with toddler tantrums to teething, if you’re going through a tough period it’s very helpful to chat with another mommy that understands and is likely to be going through similar situations. Plus, friendships can quickly be developed.
